MITCHELL, Douglas Frank - April 18, 1940 - October 26, 2022
Passed peacefully, at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto.
Remembered with love and affection by his devoted wife of 60 years, Sandra; loving daughters, Carolyn (Frank) and Paula; adoring grandchildren, Amanda (Jason), and Mitchell (Sarah); and great-granddaughter, Ray.
Doug will be forever missed by brother-in-law, David; and sister-in-law, Deborah; niece, Chelsea (Matt); nephews, Stephen (Holly, Fenway) and Adam; and fondly remembered by many cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret Mitchell; and remembered by his brother, Bob.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Bridgepoint Hospital for the incredible care and support they provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Bridgepoint Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully welcomed.
Family and friends will be received at a Memorial Service to be held Sunday, November 6th, at 2:00 p.m., at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto. Reception to follow.
