FISCHER, John - October 29, 1927 - November 29, 2022
Passed away peacefully, at Scarborough Grace Hospital at 95 years old.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gertrude; his children, Anna and Edward (Nadine); his grandchildren, Michael (Raluca), Christopher (Kyle), Melanie and Andrew; and his great-grandchildren, Morgan and Rowan.
John is also survived by his sister, Mary. John was a longtime employee of the T. Eaton Company, serving as a tailor and alterations manager for over 40 years.
He was also a parishioner at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, within the German Congregation.
He was a devoted grandfather, and his grandchildren's largest cheering section at all of their games and events.
John will be remembered for his love and commitment to each of them, sometimes driving miles to be a part of these important milestones.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 9-10 a.m., at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York, with Funeral Services to follow at 10 a.m. Burial will follow.
