BOZ, Frank  - Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 21, 2017 at the age of 89, after a lengthy illness that he fought against with strength and dignity.

Born as Branko Bozicevic in Karlovac, Croatia, Frank is survived by his beloved wife Nada of 60 years.

Cherished daughters Patricia Eichinger (Peter) and Robin Thompson (John).

Proud Dida to his grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley and Alex. Frank escaped his native Croatia as a young 17-year-old after WWII.

He proceeded to spend 5 years in various refugee camps throughout Italy. During that time he finished high school and learned to speak both Italian and English fluently. In 1950, Frank moved to Melbourne, Australia to begin a new life.

There he met Nada, the love and companion of his life and started their family with Patricia and Robin. During his time in Australia, he became a chartered accountant and was very active in the Croatian community. In 1967, Frank once again made a major change by moving to Canada.

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

We are thankful for his long and fulfilling life and we will cherish all the wonderful memories. Following Frank's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

A celebration of his life will occur at a later date.
