GURD, Walter - Born January 21, 1924. originally of Montreal and longtime resident of Toronto, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 in his home in Windsor, Ontario.
Walter had moved to Toronto as a young man and pursued a career in music and business.
He crossed Canada playing piano in the 1940s with Bobby Gimby and was later employed by the CBC arranging music on the Juliette Show and the Billy O'Connor Show.
His wife Helen passed away in 2005.
Walter is survived by his daughter Ainslee, her husband Richard and his two grandsons David and Stephen.
