GUINEY, Christina (Chris) - Chris died peacefully at North York General Hospital on April 24, 2018 at age 90.
Beloved wife, friend and companion of Tom.
Chris was born in the Scottish Borders to James and Jane Ann Crombie.
Later she moved to Glasgow where she met Tom, much to his delight.
In 1966 they emigrated to Canada where they were adopted by the O'Doherty family, whose friendship they have kept to this very day. Chris enjoyed happy summers at Whitestone Lake with many friends, especially the Byrne and the Lyng families. She also enjoyed the winters in Florida.
Chris will be held dear in the hearts of many relatives and friends here and in Scotland and Ireland.
Visitation and a Celebration of Chris' life will be held at The Simple Alternative Centre at 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto, M3B 2V1 from 10 a.m. with a reception at 12 noon on Friday, May 4th.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
