NIXON, Irene Mary - With deep sadness, Irene's family announce her passing on April 27, 2018 in Brampton, Ontario.
Beloved wife of Glenn S. Nixon.
Loving mother to Irena Christine and her husband William Preston.
Devoted grandmother to Zoë (Jarrod Marshall), Thea Preston, Kyla Preston and David (Renata) Preston.
Great-grandmother to Zara, Evan, Ava and Liam. Irene served in England in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Burton Manor for their kindness and support over the past few months.
Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home (Brampton Chapel) on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, with visitation beforehand from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated in Irene's memory .
