HAWN, Iona May (nee McILWRICK) - April 29, 1926 - June 27, 2018
With great sorrow we announce Iona's passing at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, in her 93rd year.
She was born in and a longtime resident of Streetsville, ON.
Loving wife of the late Royal for 65 years.
Cherished mother of Roy, Linda Evans (Ray), Sandra Wilson and Marilyn Finnie (Bob). Beloved Nanna of Jamie, Carrie, Jeremy, Lauren (Vince) and Cole (Jessica).
Predeceased by her brother Arthur. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a member of Streetsville Seniors Club No. 111, the UCW and longest living member of Streetsville United Church. She was an avid reader, loved to tat and sang Alto in the church choir. Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at Streetsville United Church, 274 Queen St. S, Mississauga, on Wednesday, July 4th from 10-11 a.m. A Memorial Service and reception will follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Streetsville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
