MCCALLAN, Correne (Carolyn) Orrene - July 23, 1966- June 6, 2021 - Artist, musician, activist and true original spirit. Correne brought love and laughter to everyone who met her and she will be dearly missed. With courage and grace Correne fought a tough battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at her home the way she lived, on her own terms and with dignity.
Correne’s deep love of nature and the environment made her more at home walking in the forest, swimming at Catchacoma or paddling a canoe. Creative, intelligent, and inspiringly funny she was a gentle soul who touched the lives of many.

Kevin was born on July 7th, 1945 in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. He moved to Toronto in his younger years and made his home in the Junction where he remained his entire life.
Retired after 35 years of service at Sony of Canada where he made long lasting friendships.
Beloved son of Anna Marcella Williams (nee Lee) and Joseph Dominic Williams.
Adored father of Dominic Williams (Lesley Coltman).

FARAG, Mahmoud Helmy - Passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021 at the age of 96.
Husband of Layla (deceased 2013), father of Joe (Dr. Carolyn Iwasa), Sam (Caroline) and Walter (Marianna), grandfather of Andrew (Crystal), Alison (Shady), Alexandra (Yoan), Jordan, Amanda (Shane), Connor, Isabella and Emma and great-grandfather of April, Zoey, Natalie, Gideon, Keira and Michael.
Born in Mansoura, Egypt, Mahmoud decided to pursue a better life for his family in Canada – a country he knew very little about.
Mahmoud immigrated to Canada in 1969 leaving behind a stable and successful career, his family and friends, for the unknown yet very welcoming Canada.

LENDON, Harold "Hal" Austin - "I've had a wonderful life." Harold "Hal" Austin Lendon, of Owen Sound passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the age of 84 years.
He will be greatly missed, especially by his children, Gregory "Cleve" Lendon and his wife Sophie Buhnik (Tokyo, Japan), Maura Lendon and her husband Mark Johnson (Toronto/ Long Beach, CA), and Graeme Lendon (Meaford).
He is also survived by his sister Judy Lendon and her partner Joan Beecroft (Owen Sound).
He is predeceased by his parents Eddy and Claudia, and brother Ken.

MORDEN, Joyce (Campbell) - The loving wife of John Morden for 64 years, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021 in her 87th year.
She shared her life with her daughters Mary and Martha; sons-in-law Vernon Fernandes and Rocco De Simone; grandchildren Carly, Johanna, Jeremy and Taylor; along with her brother Peter Campbell and sister-in-law Cathy Campbell.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary Richardson, and her parents Mary Campbell and Senator G. Peter Campbell.

Peacefully and gently, at Ian Anderson House on Sundaym June 6, 2021, Catherine (96) took her final breaths in the company of her children.
Beloved wife of Michael Skirrow (1924-1990).
Loving mother to Vanessa (Doug), Chris (Marion) and Fraser (Lisa). Cherished Granny of Miranda, William, Megan, Darryn, Amanda, Brendan, Jason and Thomas.
Adoring Great-Granny to Sadie, Cody, Julianna, Nathan and Alex.
She will be greatly missed by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Catherine touched the hearts and lives of many people through her faith, love and concern for others.

DOBSON, Melissa Lois - (1977 - 2021) - We are sad to announce that Melissa passed away June 5th, 2021, in hospital due to complications from diabetes.
Her laughter, kind-hearted and fighting spirit will be missed by all.
Especially by her mother Deborah Dobson, her father Robert Dean (Susan Edwards), her sisters Candace McDonald (Tammy Smith), Holly Dean (Jordan Vanclieaf and their children, Calli and Lily Vanclieaf), her brothers Edward McDonald (Amber McDonald (Dobbie)), Jordon Dean and step siblings Nicole, and James Labelle, as well as all her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is the loving Daughter of Antonia Sampogna. Cherished Sister of Jessica Sampogna.
She will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of her family and friends.

COLECCHIA, Antonio - (1944 - 2021) - On Saturday June 5th, 2021 Antonio Colecchia was called back to his heavenly home.
He will be sadly missed and survived by his wife Enrichetta, his daughters Linda Loparco (Romeo), Anna Tarantino (Vince), Lisa Rotondo (Paul) and his 6 grandkids who he adored Vanessa (Anthony), Matthew, Adriano, Luca, Cristina and Nicholas.
Antonio brought life and Joy to everyone he met.
He wore his heart on his shirt whenever he spoke about his 3 Daughters and all of his Grandchildren. His distinct whistle that we would all recognized will be missed.

HURLEY, Reverend John Joseph, CSB - (1940 - 2021) - Died at Presentation Manor, Scarborough, Ontario, on June 5, 2021, after a long decline and a hip fracture.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Hurley and Mary Durand, and is survived by his brothers William and Kenneth.
John Joseph Hurley was born in Stratford, Ontario, on 21 October, 1940. After graduating from Stratford Collegiate in 1958 he obtained a BA from Assumption University in 1963. Jack went to the Ontario College of Education in 1963 and then taught at Napanee District Separate School.
He applied to become a Basilian in 1967 and was sent to teach at St. Mary’s College, Sault Ste. Marie. Jack professed First Vows with the Basilian Fathers of Toronto in 1969 and was ordained a priest on 20 November, 1982.

HUDSON, Benson Joseph 'Ben' - Ben Hudson passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the age of 77.
He was born and raised in Adam's Cove, Newfoundland. He moved to Toronto, and enjoyed almost 55 years of marriage with his wife Marsha. He was a father to Jacqueline. Ben was a loving, caring husband and father, with a kind, generous heart. We are blessed to have had him in our life.
He was predeceased by his parents Harriett and Stewart Hudson, his siblings Clyde (Shirley deceased), and two baby sisters.
Will be remembered by his brother Howard (Winnie), brother-in-law David (Beverley), brother in-law Hector (Leona), sister-in-law Margaret (George deceased), sister-in-law Dora (John), and his nieces and nephews.

BUDDING, Nan (née Hogeveen) - (February 20, 1935 - June 5, 2021)
Nan was born in 1935 in the Netherlands and emigrated at age 18 with her family to Canada in 1953. Nan married the love of her life, Hubert Budding, in 1955 and started their family in Montreal.
In 1968, Nan and her family moved from Montreal to Ontario where her husband Hubert pursued a career in teaching and Nan continued to manage the busy, young household.
Their beliefs and understanding of the Christian world-view and living in faith led Nan, Hubert and their family to join with a number of like-minded families in starting a Christian community in Eastern Ontario where Nan and Hubert opened a restaurant -- The Supper of the Lamb. Their faith was put into practice in the menus and food offered, the relationships they had with the customers and the way in which they carried out the day-to-day business.

De LANDRO, Roscita “Beauty” (nee Gittens) - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved, Roscita “Beauty” De Landro.
Roscita “Beauty” Carolita De Landro (nee Gittens) passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2021.
Roscita was the only surviving child born to Thomas and Beatrice Gittens on April 10th, 1932 in Tunapuna, Trinidad and Tobago.
She was the mother of Wayne (deceased), Wendell (Cynthia), Wanda-Lee, Wynnell (Curtis), Warrene (Winston), Werna, Whelan (Colin), and Elizabeth.

COOMANSINGH, Victor Kenrick - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Victor Kenrick Coomansingh at the age of 71 on June 5th, 2021.
Victor was born on March 10th, 1950 in Trinidad and Tobago. He learned lessons of hard work, values and integrity at a young age from his family which he carried with him throughout his life.
He immigrated to Canada to pursue a career as a welder fitter where his appreciation for hard work truly helped him excel in his career. While in Canada he began to build a family and had two sons, Brandon and Michael.

VILLA, Lydia Burgos - Lydia Villa, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2021 at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga.
She was born in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines August 18th, 1944 to Rufino and Basilia Burgos. Lydia was the last surviving and youngest sibling to 4 brothers and two sisters. Her best friend and eldest sister who raised her like a mother, her Ate Susay just passed away last year.
In 1969 Lydia left her college sweetheart Gabriel Villa in the Philippines to go the Netherlands where she would work for the next 3 years. There she met a significant group of ladies who would become her lifelong friends. In 1972, all the ladies then immigrated to Canada.

WYTON, Margaret (nee Gilbert) - It’s with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Margaret Wyton (nee Gilbert) age 85 at her home in Brampton on Saturday, June 5th, 2021.
Her heart finally gave out. It was never the same after her husband Kenny of over 63 years passed. She was lonely for him, but not for the lack of love from family and friends.
She and Kenny travelled around the world throughout the years and befriended folks and animals everywhere they went.
She was rich in family and is survived by her children Cindy and Darrell, surrogate mother to Cheryl.

BRUNO, Rosaria - (1933 - 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our sweet mother in the morning hours of June 5th, 2021.
She was a kind and gentle soul, anyone who knew her was touched by her kindness and sweet smile.
She loved being around all her grandkids whom she loved and adored so dearly. We all loved her so very much. It was comforting that in spite of Covid we were all able to be by her side to say our goodbyes.

CLARKE, Joyce Vadney - Born in St. Ann, Jamaica on May 14, 1935, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Joyce left Jamaica in her early 20's to pursue a career as a nurse in England.
Not only did she begin her career there, but she also found her best friend, Ernest, who she took as her loving husband.
Joyce and Ernest spent 60 blissful years together, before the Lord took him home in 2016. Together, they have raised four amazing children, Janet, Sandra, Kevin and Jeff; who they cherished every day of their lives.

ROMITA, Biagio - March 16, 1942 - June 5, 2021.
Born in Modugno di Bari, Puglia, Italy; gained his angel wings in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
At the age of 79 he was a devoted husband of 52 years to his wife Tina; loving Father to Tonia (Anthony), Mary (Gino); proud Grandfather to Marcus, Sierra, Kira and Mirella.
Biagio expressed unconditional love and generosity to his extended family which included his sister, brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousin in-laws.
His close friends whom he considered family held a very special place in his heart and cherished them dearly, especially his longtime “brother” Tony.
