It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Mitchell, loving husband of Madeleine, devoted father of Debby, Theresa, the late Christopher, and Jamie.

OZOLS, Erika Ida (nee ZVEJNIEKS) - February 3, 1922 - June 13, 2021
Erika passed away peacefully, in the early hours of Sunday, June 13th, at the age of 99.
She was predeceased by her husband Janis and her brother Osvald Zvejnieks.
She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret and Vivian. Erika was born in Latvia where she grew up, went to school, and got married.
She immigrated to Canada after World War II with her husband and eldest daughter, settling in Toronto and then later moving to Scarborough in the 1950s where she raised her family.
With her daughters grown, she enrolled in nursing school, and went on to become a surgical nurse at the Scarborough General Hospital.

TRBOVICH, Myles Nicholas - Born November 17, 1943, was called to the Lord, June 13, 2021.
Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Mary Ann Trbovich.
He will be dearly missed by his brothers Ron (Sharon) and Tom (Shelly Thrasher).
Loving uncle to Christine (Merril Evoy and their children Gage, Kellen and Bronwyn), Anna Trbovich (Pat Hamilton and their children Ross and Ken), and George Trbovich.
He is fondly remembered by his devoted aunt, Erna Dragicevic along with his many Trbovich and Dragicevic cousins.
Myles was a man of deep faith and his gruff demeanor betrayed a simple and kind soul.

WALTON, Priscilla H. (nee JACKSON) - July 10, 1925 – June 13, 2021
After a 15-year battle with Alzheimer's disease, 'the Lady' is finally at peace.
Priscilla fell asleep in death surrounded by her loving family on Sunday afternoon.
Those who knew her best will miss her beauty, her laughter, her strength and her charm. Her compassion, her love, and that smile, were just some of her gifts.
As a faithful worshiper of Jehovah God, she always lived in hope for the day when "No resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isaiah 33:24).
Priscilla was most grateful for the love of her large and boisterous family.

WILKINS, Sarah - 1930 - 2021 Our beloved Aunt Sarah passed away on June 13th, at the age of 91.
She was the matriarch of the Wilkins and Wilson families.
Although she never married, she had many children in the form of nephews and nieces and great and great-great-nephews and nieces, too numerous to mention.
She was in constant touch with most of them, some of whom dwell far and wide.
Sarah was born in New Brunswick to Walter and Jeanie Wilkins and was the youngest of 8.

PALMER, Cecilia Rose (nee KELLENCZ) - To all those that I love and loved me.
Huggy, Huggy, Kissy, Kissy. GMa Known to her friends as "Cec" and her family as "GMa".
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cecilia Rose Palmer, in her 95th year.
She passed peacefully, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, surrounded by family and comforted by her Catholic faith.

ROBINSON, Stewart "Wayne" - May 12, 1938 - June 13, 2021
Forever in our Hearts Passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital after gracefully battling cancer for 12 months.
Wayne leaves behind his bride of 58 years, Betty (nee Jordan), 3 daughters, Kimberlee (Ken), Kelly, (John 2009), Kristina (Brad), 9 grandchildren, Erin, Samantha (Kurt), Scotty, Jack, Julia, Cole, Brock, Kennedy and Kate; and 2 adorable great-granddaughters, Charlie and Blake.
Wayne spent 39 years working for the Toronto Star where he was instrumental in launching the New Homes section.
In 1994 he retired and enjoyed many years RV'ing all across North America, from Florida to Alaska eventually splitting their time between Prince Edward County and Fort Myers Beach, FL.

WHELAN, Raymon William - August 7, 1941 - June 13, 2021
Ray Whelan started at the age of 10, in his native Dublin, Ireland, as a singer-impersonator and later played child parts in movies such as James Cagney's 'Shake Hands with the Devil.'
He moved to Canada in 1960 where he became a leading actor for over a decade at Toronto Workshop Productions, one of Canada's most respected theater companies.
By 1971, Ray, along with his wife, Sylvia Tucker, co-founded Open Circle Theatre and served as its artistic director from 1971-1979.
Bryan Johnson, a theater critic for The Globe and Mail, Canada's leading national newspaper, described Whelan as one of the busiest directors in the country.

COMMISSO, Francis Anthony 'Frankie' - (February 5th, 1996 - Saturday, June 12th, 2021) -
Francis was one of those kids who found a way to be good at everything. Be it skateboarding, soccer or music, his dedication to his craft made him excel at everything he put his mind to.
Frankie, as he was affectionately called, was a man of heart, and it was apparent in his every action. He went out of his way to make sure people felt included, to make sure his friends and family were taken care of, and used his infectious smile to make sure everyone felt safe and comfortable around him. If you were in his orbit, he wanted you to feel welcome.

CLEMENCE, Douglas John - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Douglas John Clemence on June 12, 2021 at the age of 81.
Doug was predeceased by his longtime partner, Ross Rudolph. Ross and his extended family were an important part of Doug’s life.
He was a loving son of the late Mary Ellen & Adna Clifford Clemence. Predeceased by brothers Murray, Duane and Stanley and sisters Verda and Marlene; he is survived by sister Marion (Terry). He was beloved by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

VANDEVALK, Johanna Maria 'Ann' (nee van den Heuvel) - (November 12, 1932 to June 12, 2021) -
Ann passed away in her 89th year while battling an aggressive, fast moving lymphoma.
The disease was robbing her of the joy she had been experiencing with her independent, relatively healthy and uncomplicated lifestyle at Hillside Place Seniors Residences in Mississauga, Ontario. Her decision to undergo the serious hardships that she would face with chemotherapy was rooted in the hope of being cured, and in her love of life and her family. She is sadly missed by all who knew her.
Ann was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Hendrikus Wilhelmus (Harry) Vandevalk who passed away in 2015, and by her beloved third child, William John (Bill) Vandevalk who also passed away in 2015.
Ann is survived by her children Henry, Gord and Diane, and their spouses, Barb Vandevalk, Cathe Vandevalk and Steve Wheeler.

LA CAPRUCCIA, Roberto - (1943 - 2021) - Roberto La Capruccia passed away on Saturday June 12th, 2021 peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his dear wife and cherished children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Ingrid of 47 adventurous and beautiful years.
His children, Tina (Frank), Rita (Tony), Marcello (Valerie), Lorenzo (Viviana) and Tania (Mike), his grandchildren Fabio, Bianca, Giulia, Jesse, Alessandra, Emma, Joel, Aryanna, Khaleesi, Nico and Sienna and his great grand-daughter Emilia.
Robert was born in Italy on December 6, 1943 and immigrated to Canada at the young age of 18. He worked as a barber in Brampton and over the years he had opened up several restaurants, starting with the original Vesuvios on Main street, then Don Valentino and finally Portobello where many wonderful memories were made with family and friends.

CLANCY, Frank Eugene - (30 September, 1948 – 12 June, 2021) - Frank (Kinger) Clancy passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital after a battle with various ailments.
We are grateful that his suffering has subsided.
Frank leaves behind his Sisters Margaret and Suzanne. He also leaves behind extended Family and many who have always been recognized as his family including Chris, Jeff their wives and kids.
Frank was a staple in the Beaches with his brother Dennis, both who have left a void in such a beautiful place.

HAYES, Madeline Joan - Passed away on June 12, 2021.
Madeline was the oldest of five born to Alan and Jean MacRobie.
There were three girls (Madeline, Anne and Susan) and two boys (Ian and Bruce).
She was close to her dad, working part-time in his legal office, and singing together in the kitchen while doing the dishes.
At high school, she spent most of her after-school time and her summers honing her skills in ballet. The hours were long and the exercise was brutal, but she reached near professional status.

He leaves behind his loving wife Cathy; his children Carrie-Anne (Ronny), Shannon (Mike), Bobby (Cynthia); his mother Eileen; and his 7 grandchildren Katie, Valerie, Aaron, Riely, Madison, McKayla, and Liam.
Bob will be missed dearly by his brother Billy, sisters Sharon, Susan and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his extended family and friends.
Bob worked at the Oakville Ford Plant for 37 years, and loved spending his time with his family and going fishing.

David passed peacefully at home in Wasaga Beach, surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Loving husband to Faye for 69 years. The best dad to David (predeceased) (Patti), Karen (Nick, predeceased) and Donald (Kim).
Adored grandfather to Catherine (Jack), Jennifer, Jeffrey, Stephen (Samantha) and Kevin and his girlfriend Katie. Great-grandfather to Elise, Nick and Jasmine.
Also loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
He will also be missed by his brother Bob (Linda, predeceased).
