McGill MaryMcGILL, Mary (nee SOUTAR)  - Peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on December 9, 2018, at the age of 85.

Beloved Wife of the late Alexander for 64 years.

Loving Mother of Lesley (Don) and Karen (Dave).

Proud Grannie of Heather (Patrick), Alexandra and Jordan (Jerrica) and Great-Grannie of James, Jordan, Isaiah, Cheyanne and Bentley.

Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada, Scotland and Spain.

Best friend of the late Jean Hynd. Mary was a factory worker, packing biscuits and cookies at Peak Freens, for 32 years, along with her friend and line mate Marlene Bellows.

A long-time member of Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club Toronto No. 1 Branch where she enjoyed many a dance and other social functions.

A special thank you to the nursing and administrative staff at Trilogy Long Term Care for their excellent care and kindness with Mary over the last six years.

Another thank you also to the wonderful doctors and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at Scarborough General Hospital, where she spent her final days.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough, on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 12 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1 p.m .
