Marchelletta LuisaMARCHELLETTA, Luisa - Our beloved Mother, Nonna, Bis-Nonna and sister passed away January 21, 2019 peacefully due to heart failure at the age of 90.

She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her son Elio (Pat), daughter Maddalena (Ken).

Her grandchildren Dan (Mary Anne),Tricia (Dan), Christina, Jenna (Nelson), Tom (Jana) and all her great grandchildren Victoria, Katherine, Elizabeth, Matthew, Ninka, Simon, Barrett, Hayley, Brodie and Max.

Luisa is survived her brother Gerri (Elaine) and sister Enrica

She is now reunited with her loving husband Antonio (Tony) and her cherished granddaughter Kelly.

Lusia was known for her green thumb, her love of crochet, great old movies, Italian soap operas and her ability to remember every detail in the series which she discussed in great lengths with her best friend Maria every evening. If she was crocheting you knew she was happy and feeling well. There are endless Nonnie blankets that will be loved for many years by family and friends.

She loved helping people and opened her home to family and friends whether it was a short stay or a long one never expecting anything in return. Always having her famous lemon cake and Italian cookies ready to serving should visitors arrive. Most of all was her pride and love for her family. She has instilled strong family values in all of us.

The family would like to thank Dr Samson and the loving staff of Parkview in Stouffville who provided such special care and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday January 24, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre, Woodbridge, Ontario. The funeral mass will be held at St. Jane Frances Roman Catholic Church, 2745 Jane Street, Toronto, Ontario at 11:00 am. Entombment is to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please choose a charity that is close to your heart.
