LUND, Erwin - It is with great sadness that the family announces Erwin’s passing on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Holland Christian Homes in his 78th year.
Beloved and devoted husband of Patricia.
Erwin will be lovingly missed by his children, Stephen, and Theresa (Chris), Kim, Sherry (Claudio), and Jeff (Mary Anne).
He will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Born in Allborg Denmark, he emigrated to Toronto in 1950 with his late parents, Walter and Helene Lund. Erwin’s all-time favorite pastime was spending as much time as he could with his beautiful wife Pat at West Lake, and he enjoyed celebrating family milestones with best friends Claude (predeceased) and Sharon.
Erwin served as a fire fighter with the Mississauga Fire Department, proudly retiring after 32 years.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held privately with family in the spring, along with an intimate farewell with loved ones at West Lake in 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the charity of your choice.
