Clark KennethCLARK, Kenneth (Kenny)   - Kenneth Clark recently died peacefully at age 90.

Ken, a well-respected Thornhill-Willowdale-Richmond Hill appliance service business owner of 40 years, and Toronto Musician's Association Local 149 (45 years), will be fondly remembered as an "all-rounder" – building his family home, cherishing long-lasting relationships, having a strong work ethic, and for his musical talents.

Ken was a trombonist, arranger, and composer who played a wide variety of genres and bands from the 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery Band to Diamond Lil's (10 years).

Ken played with the liveliest bands in Toronto; the Excelsior, the Ragweed Jazz Band and the Bobby Gimby Band, and at the most popular venues of the day; the Rex, Ontario Place, many Toronto Blue Jays games, many Royal Legion Halls, the Delta Chelsea Inn, Chicken Deli, The Brunswick, Exhibition Place and had musician cameos in two 1970's feature films.

Ken also played for the Variety Children's Club charities and many other hospital fundraisers.

A true Brit and Canadian, Ken was honored to play for HRH Queen Elizabeth II on two occasions and at the 1988 G7 Summit roster of Presidents and Prime Ministers.

Ken composed his own original musical scores such as "Scugog." Ken's charm, wit, talent, laugh and optimism will be deeply missed by his wife, sister, daughters, son-in-law, grand-daughters and many dear lifelong friends.

Ken remains in our hearts, wonderful husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and father-in-law.

There will be a memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Ken would be smiling if you made a contribution to Operation Smile Canada – "Smile and the whole world smiles with you!"
