GREWAL, Surjit Kaur - Beloved wife of Late Zorawar Singh Grewal, began her journey in life on May 4, 1927 and passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2021.
She spent her childhood in Sudhar and moved to Toose after getting married. From there, she accompanied her husband to New Delhi where she spent 35 years before coming to Canada in 1981.
She had a very giving nature and was known for her generosity of spirit towards everyone, especially children. She devoted so much of her life to her faith and to raising multiple generations of family members.
She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law Harjinder and Balvir; daughter Neelam (Maghar Singh) whom she had raised as her own; grandchildren Nannu (Manpreet), Simar and Deepa (Rajwinder); and great grandchildren Snehpal, Maleena, Harleen, Amanneet, Harmelia, Jasmeen and Mason Arsh.
