KANDIUK, Joseph   - August 23, 1929  –  November 18, 2020

Joseph Kandiuk passed away peacefully, enveloped in the love of his family, both near and from afar, at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto on November 18, 2020.

Devoted husband of Maria, loving father of daughters Mary (Bob Thompson) and Anna, and cherished Dido of grandsons Alex (Dominique) and Nicholas whom he adored and of whom he was so extremely proud.

Dido's most joyfilled years were spent taking care of Nicholas who was born after he retired from his longtime position as Head Caretaker at Crescent School in Toronto.

Our beloved Tato and Dido was born in the Ukraine and was displaced by the Second World War before settling in Canada where he embraced all the riches his adoptive country had to offer.

He will be fondly remembered for his devotion to family, sense of humour and storytelling. He will be deeply missed.

Donations can be made to Runnymede Healthcare Centre or St. Joseph's Health Centre (Toronto) where he received excellent care over the last several years.
