SARGESON, Christine Angeline - Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday March 7, 2021 at the age of 72 with her family at her side.

Beloved wife to her husband Brian for 43 years.

Dear mother of James and Theresa.

Dear grandmother of Katarina and Christian.

Preceded by her brother Armand L. Mayville (Shalimar, Fl), father Armand J. Mayville (Niagara Falls, NY) and mother Stephanie Mayville (Dryja).

Sister-in-law to Wayne Sargeson (Betty – deceased), Mark Sargeson (Cheryl) and Kevin Sargeson (Crystal) all of Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Christine will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Christine, known to family and friends as Chris, moved to Canada when she married Brian on July 16, 1977. Their wedding day was also Brian’s birthday. Chris was a loving and devoted mother, wife and grandmother, always putting family above everything.

She was a dedicated and hard worker employed by the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board for 23 years before taking early retirement in 2008. Chris was always there for others.  She loved to cook and bake and always made extras for family to take home with them. Chris spent many summer weekends with her husband Brian traveling to classic car shows in their 1955 Chev or one of their many classic cars over the years.

The visitation and funeral service will be private and by invitation only. Face coverings are mandatory in our building.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of BREAST CANCER would be appreciated by the family.
