MAXWELL, Doreen Lees (nee GEMMELL) - July 14, 1930 - March 5, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doreen Maxwell at the age of 90.
Doreen passed away at Amica Peel Village in Brampton.
Beloved wife of late Allan Maxwell (1992) and loving mother of Stephen (Janice), Janice (deceased), David (Cecilia), and Susan (Arlen), Cherished Grandmother to Jeremy, Christopher, Genevieve, Catherine, Natalie, Yale, Jesse, and Cody.
She (GGDoDo) will be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren Emily, Ethan, Myla, and Max.
Dear sister of Ted and Jack, and predeceased by Betty, Edith and Wilfred.
Loving daughter of the late Alfred and Lydia Gemmell. Doreen was a strong woman who was devoted to her family.
Her great sense of humour will be remembered by all who knew her. Her flair for baking and cooking for family gatherings, was always a highlight.
Her passion for gardening, hiking and nature has been passed along to all her children. Doreen will be dearly missed and will live in our hearts forever.
If desired, donations can be made in memory of Doreen Maxwell to the Bruce Trail Conservancy or the Salvation Army.
Due to COVID restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
