MACLEOD, Robert 'Bob' Angus - Passed peacefully on the afternoon of March 13, 2021 at Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie five weeks before his 100th birthday.

In 2014, he was predeceased by Pearl, his beloved wife of 67 years.

Bob was a loving guide and example to three sons; Brent (Tim), Vance (Roxy) and Scott (Janice).

He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Rob (Marla), Katie, Ross (Jaimie), Kenneth (Katherine) and Timothy (Emily).

He also welcomed each of his nine great-grandchildren into this world in his own very special and loving way.

The youngest of eleven siblings, Bob was born in Sault Ste. Marie and raised on a farm near Iron Bridge, Ontario. Bob's love of children was evident in his career choice of teaching. Shortly after his return from WW II he was promoted to principal. He took real pride in the role, helping countless children and staff members.

He expressed himself artistically through his hobbies which included gardening, stained glass, lapidary jewellery, needle point, knitting and crocheting. A man of simple pleasures, Bob enjoyed cottage life with friends, family and pets. He held an abiding interest in English literature with a special love of poetry.

Cremation will be followed by interment beside Pearl at a date to be determined after the easing of covid restrictions.  It is hoped that a Celebration of Life will take place in the summer.

Sincere thanks to the kind and dedicated staff at Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Toronto Sick Kids' Hospital.
