HUDSON, Frances Ann - Passed away on March 14, 2021 in Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto just a few weeks short of her 90th birthday.
She was born in Annandale, NSW Australia on April 7, 1931, the eldest child of Francis and Monica Hudson and older sister to John and David, both of whom predeceased her.
Ann, as she was known to her many friends in Canada, commenced and completed her nursing training, including a specialty in midwifery at Mater Misericordiae Hospital in North Sydney, Australia.
She worked in Sydney and Hobart until early 1960 when, in June of that year, she travelled to Canada and nursed in Medicine Hat, before moving to Toronto.
She ended her long and successful career as Nurse Unit Manager of the Eye Clinic at the Wellesley Hospital in Toronto.
She was loved and is greatly missed by her family in Australia and her many friends in Canada.
