HADAWAY, Lorraine Margaret - (1937 - 2021) - Lorraine passed away on April 20, 2021, predeceased by her sister Sandy Aiken and survived by her brother Jim.
She was a child of the Depression era, born on December 30, 1937 in Weston and remembered a happy childhood.
She proceeded to work in various secretarial and dispatch positions until retiring to savour life with her life partner of over forty years, Herb Magiera.
Lorraine was a strong and compassionate woman who became a favourite among her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Over the years she cared for many of these children and our aging parents as she kept a happy home in Holland Landing. She enjoyed crosswords, reading, British mysteries and gardening. Lorraine was always game for any adventure and her company a delight. She leaves a vast legacy of love and joy behind.
A gathering for remembrance will be held in better times. Arrangements entrusted with Taylor funeral home, Newmarket.
