Muchado OliviaMACHADO, Olivia - On May 26, 2021 at the age of 95.

Olivia is now reunited with her husband Joao (predeceased 1993) and her son Fernando (predeceased 2008).

Dear mother to Maria Jose (Jose Manuel), Eugenia (Garey) and John Carlos.

Loving Vavo to Cindy (Giulio), Jennifer (Adrian), Leslie (Steve), Shannon (Elena), Stephen (Kyna) and Christopher (Jacqueline).

Proud great-grandmother to Joshua, Sophia, Michael, Benjamin, Nathan, Layla, Julian, Olivia and Steven Jr.

Olivia was born in Arrifes, Sao Miguel, Portugal and immigrated to Canada with her family to make a better life.

She settled in Toronto and raised her family. She was loved by all who knew her,  as she was kind, compassionate and had a great sense of humor; she made sure everyone was cherished and treated as if they were family.

She was a devout Catholic who was strong in her faith for God and the Holy mother.  She was a long time parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was loved by the community.

Olivia will be forever loved, deeply missed and remembered in all our hearts by her family and friends.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions and under direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, all funerals and visitations will be by invitation only to limit the number of people in attendance and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
