Mracic BrankoMRACIC, Branislav (Branko) - Passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 94.

Dear husband to Zdenka (predeceased in 2001), whom he was married to for 36 years.

Beloved father to Nikola (Sonia) and Viktor (Sandra).

Adored grandfather to Stefanie, Alexander, Tatjana, Katryna and great grandfather to Baby Victoria.

In his early years (in the former Yugoslavia) Branko fought in WWII, something he never spoke about to his family, until much later in his life.

Throughout his life, he loved to talk about his mountaineering days "back home" after the war. Branko came to Canada with a few dollars in his pocket, not knowing the English language and worked hard to become a successful Civil Engineer. Branko was instrumental in assisting many people from the former Yugoslavia in starting their new lives here and around the world.

Branko cherished his time with his grandchildren and enjoyed many years of playing golf and travelling with the love of his life, our mother. He never missed taking his sons to hockey practice and games, whenever and wherever they needed to be.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private Funeral Service in Markham on Saturday, June 5th.

In lieu of flowers, the Mracic Family requests that you consider making a donation to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation in Branislav's memory.
