KOS, George - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Kos on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Mira, and 2 grandchildren, Cassie Rees and Austin Rees.
He is also mourned by his niece, Nadiya Semenyuk, who, for many years, was his primary caregiver and took very good care of him.
He also cherished his relationship with his great-great-niece Oleysha and her family - Roman, Nicole and Melania.
George was born on May 6, 1925 in the Ukraine and arrived in Canada in the early 1950’s. After he retired, he spent his days in the backyard sitting in the sun.
Due to the current Covid - 19 restrictions in Toronto that allow a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.
The family thanks you for your support and understanding during this challenging time.
