GRANT, Selma - It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of a beautiful lady, Selma Phyllis Grant on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
After a very short, but aggressive illness, Selma left us surrounded by the ones she loved and who loved her so dearly.
Devoted wife and caregiver to the late Monty Grant.
Cherished mother and mother-in-law to Cari and Phillip Galin.
Beyond adored Grandmother to Marni Galin.
Selma will also be lovingly remembered by her dear brother Stanley and the late Sandra Lipton, Nieces and Nephews Melanie and James Waddell and Kevin and Allison Lipton of N.Y, and Martin and the late Terry and Randy Grant of Haliburton.
She had special relationships with everyone she knew. Particularly, Cousins Carroll and Sy Eisler and "adopted" son Taylor Ray.
Her roots were in N.Y., born to Leah and Philip Lipschitz.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
In her last days she mentioned N.Y. often.
Selma was an active volunteer at The Bernard Betel Centre, and as such she requested that in her memory donations be made to further their work for GTA Seniors. Alternatively, the family requests donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
