WIEDERHOLD, Gunter Paul - After a brave battle with Central Nervous System Lymphoma, with broken hearts we are sad to announce that Günter was called home by the Lord in the afternoon of September 5, 2021, surrounded by his second wife and step-daughter.
Predeceased by his first wife, Ingrid and son Peter.
Günter is survived by and sadly missed by his second wife Edeltraut, daughter Marion, step-daughters Vanessa, Diana and Sabrina, his grandchildren Derek, Amanda, Anna and Rebecca, his great-grandson Bentley and his fur baby Silo.
It gives us peace knowing he is no longer suffering although we all miss him dearly.
Günter will be fondly remembered for his outpouring love for his family, his faith in the Lord and his kind and gentle ways.
Friends are welcome to gather with the family on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Matthew, 3159 Lawrence Ave. E. (visitation at church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.). Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Matthew, would be appreciated as Günter was a faithfully dedicated church member and volunteer.
