Curle LindaCURLE, Linda Anne   -  It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Anne Curle (nee Wickens, formerly de la Courneuve) announce her passing; peacefully in her sleep at Sunnybrook Hospital on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the age of 69.

Linda was born on May 9, 1952 in Toronto to Raymond and Delores Wickens, big sister to Brent Wickens and Doug Wckens (Marian).

Linda is survived by Paul, her devoted husband, best friend and partner in life for 25 years.

Linda and Paul had a love like no other.

They cherished each other deeply and it was clear to everyone around them they were truly meant for each other. Proud mother to Arnold (Claudia), Carly (Jesse), Stepmother to Bryan Curle and Marsha Curle.

Lovingly known as Meemaw to her grandchildren: Declan, Dylan, Lilly and Wyatt.

Linda had many passions; she was an avid reader from horror to sci-fi and fantasy. She loved music and collected hundreds of albums from various genres over the years.

Linda was a skilled gardener and her home was always full of beautiful plants that she cared for right until her passing.

She had a deep love for animals, having many rescue dogs throughout her life.

A real force to be reckoned with, Linda's professional journey was an inspiration to her daughter Carly and women everywhere as she progressed through her career in the Media industry to reach heights not often seen by women at the time.

A brilliant mind, a fierce ambition and a work ethic admired by peers that she instilled in her children.

Linda battled cancer with the courage, strength, and resilience she was so well known for.

She will always be in our minds, forever in our hearts with a legacy that will live on.
