COLOSIMO, Rosario - (January 15, 1942 - September 26, 2021) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosario (Roy) Colosimo.
He was a devoted husband to Rita Colosimo for 59 years. He was a loving father to Laura and Joseph Colosimo (Sylvia). They had a beautiful and close relationship that one can only describe as inseparable.
He was a dear nonno to Rosario, Joshua, Christian and Joseph and nothing made him prouder than watching their hockey games.
Roy was born in a small town called San Mango d’Aquino, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to Canada as a young man. He later started what has become a successful business of over 40 years where his most cherished friendships began. He loved having his morning coffee at the bar with his friends and making his round of phone calls to all his friends and coworkers.
Roy loved playing cards, watching wheel of fortune, summers in Calabria and listening to Elvis. He was a light and joy to everyone who knew him. He will be remembered as someone who everyone loved, a man who truly loved life and someone who cherished his family and friends. Roy was one of a kind.
