Burgess JohnBURGESS, John Malcolm  - 1941 - 2018  Passed away at Sunrise of Mississauga on March 19, 2018 in his 77th year from complications of Parkinson's disease.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Carole (nee Burrell); loving father of David and Kathryn (Theodore) and grandfather of Trenton.

Predeceased by his parents, Horace T. and Marion H. and elder brother, Norman.

Survived by his brother, Robert (Paulette). After graduating in Commerce from Ryerson IT in 1962, John began his business career working in the family's brokerage firm. He retired 35 years later in 1997 from National Bank Financial. Longtime member of The Boulevard Club, he enjoyed many games of tennis and curling and certainly didn't shy away from events that included dinner and dancing.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10am at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga. with a service to follow in the Chapel at 11 am. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise of Mississauga for their kindness and conscientious care and concern for John over the past four years.
