MUNROE, Anna Loretta – Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, in her 96th year.
Loving mother of Dianne, Murray, Rae, Elaine, Ross, Joan, Doreen, Bill, Albert and Vincent.
Proud grandmother of 48 grandchildren.
Born in Prince Edward Island on October 12, 1922 to John and Jessie Jay formerly of Midgell, PEI.
She met her husband-to-be in Halifax during World War 2 and got married on November 21, 1942 to William Henry Munroe (January 18, 1921 – November 4, 1970).
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill St., Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Saturday, November 25th from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 P.M.
Interment later at Aurora Cemetery.
