RIDELL, Dorothy 'Dot' - (March 10th, 1923 - August 6th, 2020)
On Thursday, August 6, 2020, Dorothy “Dot” Riddell passed away at the age of 97 years. Dorothy had varied experiences throughout her long life.
She once bowled a perfect game, managed high school cafeterias in Scarborough, and later on ran a marina and a motel in the Kawarthas with her husband Roy, all while cheering on her beloved Blue Jays!
Dorothy made the best gravy, and her delicious coleslaw and waldorf salads were always requested at family gatherings.

Born in Australia, only his cat and a few people made it past his gruff exterior to know a positive, upbeat man who just liked to have a laugh.
Most conversations involved details of John’s crazy antics that were meant to cause trouble.
You’d probably hear John shout “Let the buggers come and get it!”, and the story would end with “But Lovie…” as he tried to convince you that his scheme was necessary.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at 92 years of age.
George is now reunited with his beloved wife Patricia and his son Robert.
He leaves to mourn, his children Craig and his wife Lynda, Pam and her husband Doug Noonan and David. Cherished grandfather of Alicia (Dale), Daniel, Matthew, Julia and Charlie.
George will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews throughout Ontario, his extended family from his hometown of Dundee, Scotland and family throughout the United Kingdom.

Married to the love of his life, Diane (nee Goreski), for 50 years, he is the much loved father of Brian Carras (Julianne) and Lesley Clapp (Aaron). #1 Grandpa to Bridgette, Matthew, Isabelle and Alana.
Will be deeply missed by many including his younger brothers (Rick, Jim & Tom) and their families in British Columbia and Diane’s sisters & brothers-in-law (Carol & John Pudlis and Darlene & Glen Wood) and their families in Ontario.
