Killingbeck GordonKILLINGBECK, Gordon 'Gord' German - Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Saturday May 1st, 2021 at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Joyce.

Loving father to Lynda Ellis, Phyliss Myatte (Joe d.), Gerry Ellis (Laura d.), Kim Trempe (Les), Glenn Ellis (Marg), Mary Glaister (Wayne) and Lori McFarling (Garrett).  

Father of the heart to Gloria Thompson.

Devoted grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and uncle. 

Brother of Tom Killingbeck (Brenda). 

He was predeceased by his parents Ernie and Violet Killingbeck, sister Velma McIlmoyle, brother Don Killingbeck and grandson Bill Trempe. 

Gord was a proud Canadian, a veteran of the Korean War serving with the Royal Canadian Engineers. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 65 years.

He took pride in being both a heavy equipment operator and a tractor trailer driver.

He was an avid fisherman with many a story to share. He was witty and brought laughter to those around him. He was deeply loved and will be missed. 

Cremation arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. 

Donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 300 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
