MATAVOSKY-OOSTERHOF, Lena Matavovsky-Oosterhof - January 1, 1953 – December 10, 2021
Passed away at home with family by her side on Friday, December 10th, 2021 at the age of 68.
Beloved wife of the late Jan Matavovsky.
Loving mother of Jan – Joost Matavovsky and his wife Terri.
Cherished Oma of Violet Jentina.
Survived by her twin sister Pia Oosterhof-De Kater and her husband Hans De Kater, and her brother Auke Oosterhof and his wife Wilma.
Dear Tante of Mark, Karin, Robbin and Marvin.
Daughter of her loving parents Joost and Jentina Fetje Oosterhof.
Lena will be remembered as a loving mother and a great teacher at George Brown College. She ran her own Esthetician Business and loved to sell antiques at the St. Lawrence Market.
She sold her home in Pickering and purchased her new home in Oshawa that she beautifully renovated.
Lena always offered her services to help others, being honest about her feelings and speaking the truth.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, December 18th from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m.

Lena's wishes is to have her entombment to be held in the mausoleum at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
