WOLFF, Earl William Wolff - Passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday December 31, 2022 in his 91st year.
Earl was predeceased by his wife and best friend for 62 years Anne (2018).
Cherished father of Kim Mastroianni (Lou), Stephen and Jennifer Nash (Tim).
Lovingly remembered by his grand children Sarah Mastroianni (Andrew Leslie), Michael Mastroianni, Christopher Nash and by his great-grandson Anthony as a devoted and proud grandpa and great-grandpa.
Earl will be missed by his nieces and nephews, extended family and all who knew him. Earl, born in Arnprior Ontario in 1932, was a people person and a devoted family man. He spent his career in education as both a secondary school teacher and principal. Earl was a proud Canadian who loved to travel and spend time with family and good friends.
In retirement, he and his wife Anne wintered as Snowbirds in Port Charlotte Florida and he had the opportunity, with Anne by his side, to see the world working as a tour guide.
Earl was a long-time member of the Bowmanville Rotary Club and was honoured with the Paul Harris Award for outstanding service and commitment.
He volunteered with many other organizations including the United Way, The Durham Regional Housing Authority, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, the Retired Teachers Organization and the local cancer centre.
Earl's family will hold a private funeral service to honour Earl's life.
Funeral arrangements are through Mount Lawn Funeral Home,Whitby.
In memory of Earl, the family would appreciate donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation or to Faith Lutheran Church.
