Caldwell PatriciaCALDWELL, Patricia Ann “Pat” (McKinley/McLeod) Caldwell  -

June 9, 1945 - December 4, 2023

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Pat passed away at the age of 78.

Beloved wife of the late David Caldwell (predeceased 2016).

Beloved Mother of Tim (Melisa) and Susan (Joe) Lee.

Loving Grandmother to Madison, Hannah, Mia, Justin and William.

Fondly remembered by her sister, Shirley (Jim) Hanrahan.

Predeceased by her parents, Valerie Jackson (McKinley) and Norton McKinley. Pat enjoyed a successful career with TD Bank until health issues forced her to retire in the early 80’s. Pat was the epitome of strength and an inspiration to many people.

Her sense of humor, bravery, sunny disposition and kindness never faded. In Pat’s words, “A special thank you to my daughter, Sue, who has looked after me for many years. She has been an advocate, caregiver and friend”. The family would like to thank her ‘village’ of private caregivers, March of Dimes and WWMD Home Care for all the care given to Pat over the years.

A special thank you to Lakeridge Health Oshawa for keeping Pat comfortable in her final journey.

Visitation and time of reflection will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W, Oshawa, ON, Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 12:30pm until time of Celebration of Life service at 1:30pm, followed by a luncheon at the funeral home, when friends can meet and reminisce on Pat’s life.

The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at the following link: https://pickartphoto.com/stream/PatriciaCaldwell/ In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CNIB https://www.cnib.ca or Multiple Sclerosis Canada https://mscanada.ca.
