GILLAN, Paul Francis -
SEPTEMBER 13, 1935 – DECEMBER 17, 2023
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his family by his side on Sunday December 17th, 2023 at 88 years of age.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley.
Devoted father of David (Michelle), and Brian (Karin).
Cherished Papa of Nicholas and Ryan.
Predeceased by his sister Ruth Repchuck.
Paul will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Retired after 40 years of service at General Motors. Paul never made the wrong call in his 40 years of umpiring softball.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Oshawa Curling Club and the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club.
In his younger years, Paul enjoyed singing and won numerous awards, as well as being an alter boy. He loved football especially his Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday December 21st from 12:30 pm until time of the service in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
