OCTOBER 4, 1931 – DECEMBER 29, 2023
Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday December 29th, 2023 at 92 years of age.
Beloved wife of Patrick Shannon for 69 years.
Loving mother of Pat (Jerry), Brian Patrick (predeceased 1979), Kevin (Carol) and Carrie (Michael).
Cherished grandmother of Erin, Ryan, Matthew, Kyle and Claire and great grandmother of Dustin, Tanner and Callen. She is predeceased by her brother Kevin and her sisters Eileen and Helen.
Bernie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street West on Wednesday January 3, 2024 from 11a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Family Parish ( 91 Ribblesdale Ave., Whitby) on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
Memorial donations to Hearth Place or Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
