Lang JudithLANG, Judith (Judy) Ann -

April 10, 1945 - January 12, 2024

It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts to announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Ann Lang of Courtice.

Suddenly, and surrounded by all her family at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the age of 78.

Born in Oshawa, Ontario on, April 10, 1945.

Daughter of the late Donald and Edna Cutler. Judith (nee Cutler) was the beloved wife of Jim Lang for 54 years.

Loving mother of her 2 boys, Stephen (Darlyne), Brent (Jennifer) Judy will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dylan Lang (Karley), Samantha Lang (Owen) Cole Morrison and Easton Morrison.

Dear sister of David Cutler (Wilma). Fondly remembered by her Sister-in-law Mildred Dreossi and Brotherin-law Bryan Lang (Cindy). Judy will be remembered by all of her nieces and nephews.

Anyone who knew Judy knew her greatest love was her family.

Judy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; traveling the world with her husband and closest friends, spending time with her family and grandchildren, right down to watching the sunset on the back deck with her husband while feeding the birds and reading one of her favourite authors.

Judy worked as a Teacher for various school boards throughout her 35 plus years of teaching. Her love for children was infectious.

As an accomplished teacher she shared her passion for teaching with those around her, the sparkling sense of wonder and curiosity in the minds of her students is why Judy loved working as a teacher.

Judy impacted the lives of many around her, she was an incredible, kind-hearted, empathetic woman who possessed the rare quality of making those around her feel safe and seen. Her gentle spirit and warm knowing smile left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends whose lives Judy touched are invited to Woodview Park 151 Cadillac Avenue North, Oshawa on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1-4 pm to reminisce, and celebrate the wonderful life Judy lived.

If desired memorial donations to Denise House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Please visit etouch.ca for further details.
