Singh VictorSINGH, Kapaldeo "Victor"  -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Victor / Kap Singh on April 26, 2024.

He was a cherished grandfather, husband, father, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend whose life was characterized by faith, love, and an infectious, beautiful smile.

He had a remarkable ability to draw people in, always eager to share his passions and share advice with those he

held dear.

Born on May 24, 1944, Victor was the eldest of 12 children.

Victor leaves behind a profound void in the lives of his family and friends, including his wife of 55 years, Lee; daughters Dianne (Harry), Donna (Alim), Reya (Ainsley); grandchildren Isaiah, Kaelyn, Naomi, Logan and Lewis, his surviving siblings Jean (Bhagwant), Raj (Lila), Michael (Nalini), June, Tattoo (Deo), Yogi (Dolly), Deo (Natasha) along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Victor was predeceased by his siblings Gloria, Joyce, Chet, and Mary.

He spent his formative years in Guyana and other areas of the West Indies. He completed his Bachelor Science as well as Meteorology training at the University of the West Indies.

He also studied in England where he completed his degree in Mathematics. In 1983, he relocated with his wife and three daughters to Canada to provide them a better life.

While he lived in Canada he earned his CGA certification which ultimately garnered him his last career role at ATI Technologies as a credit manager, he worked there for 15+ years and then retired in 2006.

He enjoyed 17 years of retired life with his wife. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. His hobbies included gardening, taking care of birds, he was an avid reader and made the absolute BEST pepper sauce.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME , 21 Garrard Road in Whitby, ON from 6: 00p.m to 9:00pm. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at 10:30a.m.
