LONGTIN, Pauline Patricia (nee Forbes)  -

June 27, 1946 -  May 6, 2024

It is with heart felt sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Pauline at home surrounded by her children on May 6, 2024, just shy of her 78th birthday.

Predeceased in death by her beloved husband of almost 58 years, Leonard, dear mother of Jeff (Heather), Brad, Lori, and Leonard Jr.

Loving grandmother to Tyler, Joshua, Ethan Wyatt (EW), Nicky, Joshua, Justin, and Leonard Joseph (LJ). She is remembered and missed by her friends/family (and their fur babies), nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitations will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 6-8 pm at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton ON, and on Saturday May 18, 2024 at Fair Havens Community Church, 2355 Highway 48, Beaverton, ON from 10-11am with Celebration of Life at 11-12 pm and a light lunch and refreshments to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Community Care Hospice Services of Kawartha Lakes or the Canadian Lung Association.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the palliative team and her countless health care providers.

Pauline had a wonderful sense of humor and a love for her birds, dogs, and most of all, her beloved cat, Teah. Despite her tiny stature, she was a force to be reckoned with and a beautiful woman inside and out.

She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Heaven most certainly has gained an angel.

"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us" - Helen Keller.
