Harrison BarbaraHARRISON, Barbara Marlene  -

1938 - 2023

Barbara took her last breath in the early hours of July 7th, with her sister, Marcy, by her side, at St. Joseph's Hospice Suite in Hamilton.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; and her beloved daughter, Karen.

She cherished her siblings, Mae, Jean, Kenneth, Robert, Marcella, Shannon, Wayne and Lynn, her squad from childhood to seniorhood.

She will be truly missed by her favourite (and only) sister-in-law, Carolyn.

Barbara loved her precious nieces and nephew, Cyndi, Christine and Danny, as well as many others.

Her furbabies were, Snookums, Pepper, Jade, PJ and Sam, who gave her joy throughout her life.

She worked at Admiral Corporation and A.T.R for 33 years, but her real career was keeping her home pristine. Later, Barb and Bill travelled till their hearts content.

From South America to New York, from Alberta to Prince Edward Island. They enjoyed musicals to museums and cruises to cottages.

Our family is especially grateful for St. Joseph's Social Worker, Mr. Kyle Daly, who harnessed our emotional well-being, so we could move forward with tough decisions.

Thank you to Dr. Berg and Nurse Kathleen W., who were instrumental in keeping comfort at the forefront of Barbara's remaining days. Thank you to Dr. Feng, who diagnosed and treated Barbara with compassion. Special thanks to Nurse Karolina D. and Nurse Xylene (Grace) M., who went beyond the call of duty in so many ways.

Private family interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Hamilton.

As per Barbara's request, she asked that no flowers or donations be sent. Simply pay it forward with kindness and a smile.
