HOLMES, Eric John Holmes - Eric John of Wasaga Beach passed away, peacefully, on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Spruce Lodge in Stratford, ON in his 80th year.
Eric was predeceased by his parents, Chris and Faith (nee (Stillman); and brothers, Dale (2008), Chris (2020); and nephew, Ralph (2017).
Eric will be missed by his wife, June (nee Lorimer); and sisters, Patricia (Don Laing) of Stratford, Andrea Sutherland (Bob Closs) of Cornwall and Janette (John Young) of Oakville.
Many nieces and nephews will also remember him fondly. Born in Toronto on December 29, 1942.
Eric attended Huron St. PS. Eric moved to Newmarket for High School, he was known as "Homer" as he participated in many school functions and socialized with his friends at the local Arena, Pool Hall, and Teen Town.
Eric was a member of The Film Technicians Union IATSE 873 for over 50 years.
Eric will be truly missed.
