CAUTHERS, Lois Ione (nee WHITE) -
January 23, 1944 – April 15, 2024
Lois died peacefully at Hospice Collingwood at the age of 80.
Lois leaves behind her loving husband and soulmate of 58 years, Gary.
She was a devoted mother to Jac and Erinn, grandmother to Laurena, Jorge and Jaime, sister to Dick and the late Harry.
Lois moved with her family from Shelburne to Stayner and she attended Collingwood Collegiate Institute High School with Gary.
Dating, the two moved to Toronto where Lois graduated from the Wellesley Nursing Program. They married in 1965 and continued to live and work in Toronto while raising a family.
Prior to retirement, Lois was Human Resources Manager at Riverdale Hospital. On retirement, Lois and Gary enjoyed many years living in the old Orange Lodge in Glen Huron.
Lois was happiest when spending cherished moments with family and friends, tending her beautiful gardens and travelling around the world with Gary.
No service or events are planned at this time.
