DOTY, Virginia Anne - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia "Ginny" Anne Doty on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
She passed away peacefully, at North York General Hospital surrounded by family.
Beloved wife of Patrick Doty for 58 years; Ginny will be deeply missed by her two sons, Stephen and Mark; her daughter-in-law, Jane; and two loving grandchildren, Amelia and Eden.
Ginny was a devout Catholic and active parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are welcomed to Covenant House, the largest agency in Canada serving youth who are homeless.
Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bonaventure Church, 1300 Leslie St. in North York, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.
