BLAKE, Joyce Evelyn - Mum joined her beloved husband, Arthur (2010) on August 16, 2018.
Left to remember her with great love are her children, Susan (Gordon Sweetzer) and David (Monica).
She was the adored and adoring grandmother of Andrew (Kyle), Allistair (Michelle), Adam, Spencer (Stephanie), Jill (Kevin), Allison (Matt), Jake and Jamie.
Mum and Dad came to Canada in 1966 with Susan and David to give them the opportunities that this great country offered. Fiercely patriotic Canadians, both Mum and Dad gave back to their communities for their entire lives including the Rockway Seniors Centre and the Mayors Advisory Council for Kitchener Seniors.
Mum was a very proud "sports Grandma", visiting hundreds of hockey arenas, horse stables and soccer pitches to watch her superstar grandchildren.
Mum's life will be celebrated on September 1, 2018, with a visitation at 12:00 noon followed by a service of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. at the Marlatt Funeral Home, Dundas, Ontario, L9H 1V5.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Women's Brain Health Initiative womensbrainhealth.org in Mum's memory would be greatly appreciated.
