GALIFI, Mattia - God called Mattia peacefully on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at the age of 89.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Antonio.
Cherished by her dear siblings, Giuseppe Galifi, Salvatore (Antonina Galifi), and Croce Renda. Proud Zia to Vince (Joanne Galifi), Vince (Mary Galifi), Vito (Mary Galifi), Joe Renda, and Angela Renda.
She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Tuesday September 4th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church (2194 Kipling Ave., north of Rexdale Blvd.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7).
If so desired, donations in memory of Mattia may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
