Leigh MarilynLEIGH, Marilyn Dianne - (May 12, 1944August 30, 2018) -

Marilyn Dianne Leigh passed away with her children Carla and Ryan at her side on August 30, 2018 at Providence Health Care.

She is survived by her granddaughters Samantha and Harmony, her brother Bob (Marilyn) and her nephews Rob and Cory.  She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Elsie Britt and her nephew Daryl.

She was best known for her dedication to her family and her deep love of her granddaughters. As many know she was committed to her work as an office manager and excelled professionally and personally at work, often making her co-workers into lifelong friends and extended family simply through her ability to make so many feel like part of her family.

Her love of wine is also something that needs mentioning as the family have received much correspondence from Tuscany, California, Bordeaux, Niagara on the Lake and many other wine regions expressing their sorrow but also wondering if any advice can be given as to how to make up for a disastrous dip in sales coinciding mysteriously with Marilyn’s passing.

Whether you have met Marilyn or not you are likely familiar with her singing voice. As all who have heard her stunning renditions of "Here comes Peter Cotton Tail," "Cracklin' Rosie" or anything by ABBA can testify to when Marilyn sings a song, any song, it is eternally hers.

Her love of life, art, her work, her family have left a lasting impact on all who knew and loved her.

Visitation at Giffen-Mack funeral home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. East, Scarborough on September 8th from 11:00 a.m until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.
