Wallace RegWALLACE, Reginald Rutherford 'Reg' - Crossed his last bridge on Thursday, September 27, 2018 very peacefully with family around him at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Wonderful husband to Ann for 59 years.

Their three sons and their wives, William (Mia London), James (Elizabeth Sidlo-Wallace) and Michael (Sarah Rotering) and seven special grandchildren are so grateful to have had him in their lives.

His brother, John (June), and his sister, Elizabeth Leslie (Ian, predeceased), hold him fondly in their hearts.

He was a proud graduate of Royal Military College, a committed member of the Arts & Letters Club, and a stalwart member of Grace Church on the Hill.

His endless curiosity fed his love of travel, his wide-ranging love of reading, and his passion for engaging discussion. Reg brought this curiosity to his three decades of teaching Structural Engineering at Ryerson University and in his promotion of engineering history in Canada. Never a dull moment.

Ann and the family would like to thank Sunnybrook Hospital, the staff at SPRINT and the many PSWs who supported Reg in recent years.

Celebration of Life: Grace Church on the Hill, 300 Lonsdale Road, Toronto, Friday, October 5th at 2 pm, reception to follow. Cremation will have taken place.

In lieu of flowers please consider donations to ONE City Scholarship Fund or Theatre Museum Canada, 309-15 Case Goods Lane, Toronto, ON.
