Brown LeonardBROWN, Leonard Alonzo - January 6, 1930 - October 1, 2018 - After a brief but valiant fight against cancer, Len passed away peacefully with Louise, his best friend and the love of his life, gently holding his hand, and his family at his side.

Len was always a loving and caring husband to Louise for the 68 years of their marriage.

Together they raised a beautiful family: Karen Brown and Kim Thompson (Ron).

His love and legacy will live on in the lives and hearts of his grandchildren Jeffery (Mary) and Matthew (Jamie).

Len was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Mason and Chloe, who he loved dearly.

After a very successful career at G. H. Wood, where he was able to take early retirement, Len and Louise spent the last 35 years doing the two things together they loved most: they traveled the world and also volunteered 1000’s of rewarding hours, most recently the last 20 years at Pearson International Airport on The Welcome Team.

No matter what life brought to Len, you could always count on his beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes to warm your heart. Len was a truly amazing man who will be missed by so many.

Resting at NNewediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Toronto on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment at Toronto, ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
