DORIA, Steve Vito - Age 81, passed away from cancer, peacefully on Friday October 26, 2018 at Toronto General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and partner Francesca Gorski.
He was born on October 4th1937 in San Vito, Italy, to Carmela (nee Luceno) and Nicola Doria.
Proceeded in death by his loving wife Elizabeth (nee Barbieri).
He is survived by his brother Albert, sister-in-law Inge Doria, and children, Steve (Linda), Suzanne (Chuck Sullivan) and Richard (Dana), and his six granddaughters, Isabella, Dominque, Emilie, Charlotte, Ava and Elizabeth, whom he adored.
Vito loved golf, pasta, good food and good wine with his friends, family and neighbors.
Family and friends will be received at the Demarco Funeral Visitation Centre, Woodbridge, on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at 9:30am at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge followed by Entombment at Toronto. Followed by a luncheon at Mezza Notte Trattoria at 11 Disera Drive, Thornhill.
