Balabanowicz ValentinoBALABANOWICZ, Valentino  -  September 17, 1955 - November 3, 2018

In his last act of bravery and strength, Valentino (Val) passed away surrounded by his wife, children and their partners who will forever miss him and carry his playfulness with them wherever they go.

Val loved and cherished Irene, his devoted wife of 39 years and his children Carla (Matt), Julia, Valentino and Alexander.

He deeply treasured his granddaughters, Evelyn and Audrey. He loved and was loved by a large extended family.

He shared a special bond with all of his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and was proud of all of his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Val also had an amazing network of friends, teammates and colleagues.

He will forever be remembered for his welcoming and easy-going nature, sense of humour, grit and kind spirit. His wife and children will forever be grateful for the support and love that we received from our family, friends and his health care team. Thank you to the doctor who honoured his freedom of choice.

A special thank you to Emily for always being there and for her strength when we needed her the most.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Tottenham, Ontario (25 Richmond Street East) on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 1-5 p.m.

A donation to Saint Elizabeth Foundation (sehc.com/foundation) in Val's memory would be appreciated. Go Leafs Go!.
